Who are we?
Why struggle with the written word, when we can do the job for you? We are two people with experience in journalism, PR, training, and scientific publishing, who can turn complex terminology into precise, readable English. Our background means that we are ideally qualified for writing company brochures, user manuals, press material or speeches, particularly if you have a difficult or technical point to get across.

If you're looking for fast, accurate copy editing or proof reading, then we can also help. We also offer a secretarial service, including letter writing, audio/copy typing and minute taking (either in longhand or on a laptop). Simply email us your requirements, and we'll contact you as soon as possible. To give you an idea of costs, our normal hourly rate for secretarial work is £12.50. Alternatively, we're happy to charge by the item. For example, if you need some copy typing done from longhand, the charge is £1.00 per side of A4 paper, with a minimum charge of £10. A simple letter plus typed envelope would also cost £10-£15, depending on the length.
We usually work from home but if needed can come to you, subject to a call-out fee of £25 in the Thanet area (this can be reduced or waived altogether if you live really close by though!)
